This piece symbolizes the pain of a scar with adhesions that restrict the abdomen and impair muscle función. The new life’s Navel is painfully taut, manifesting as an elipse. The scar from the first birth is marked by surgically-induced trauma.  Forged in textured silver, deliberately mimicking the agressiveness of the staples. This piece is intentionally deprived of polish and neatness.  It represents the chronic, silent pain of the sick, the unrecognized trauma, and the internal asymmetry of the adhesions. The chain embodies the   story of two infinities conects by a single, shared organ.
